World of Warcraft: Midnight · Patch 12.1 · The Final Boss
Ula'tek
The serpent the Amani could not unmake
Born to slay a god. Buried for what she became. Sixteen thousand years sealed beneath the Coiled Isle — and now the eighth and final boss of The Venomous Abyss.
She wakes · estimated August 11, 2026
What She Is
Not a goddess. A weapon.
Ula'tek is the buried thing at the heart of the Coiled Isle — an ancient serpent of pure hatred, corruption, and venom that the Amani once summoned as a weapon and then could not control. Worshipped as a snake goddess yet classed in-game as an Aberration born of the Rift of Aln, she is less a loa than a living curse: a power so dangerous her own makers sealed her beneath stone for over sixteen thousand years. Now reconstituted, she rises as the climax the entire Curse of Ula'tek campaign has been coiling toward.
